Donut Wall DIY

Happy National Donut Day! I will take any excuse to eat a donut and this one has gotta be at the top of the list. The last two years, LMP has celebrated Donut Day with a bobbing for donuts party and a donut day breakfast party. This year, all I could think about was the Donut Wall trend we are seeing at weddings and events! Everyone seems to want a wall of pegs filled with donuts to serve their guests, so in typical @craftymaggie fashion, I made one!

Truthfully, this is one of the easiest DIYs we have done to date. All you need is an old tray, wooden pegs from a craft store, hot glue, paint, and a ruler to measure it out.

First, I measured out the distance between the pegs so they were even and left enough space for donuts to fit. Then I used hot glue on the backs to get them into place.

I had extra space at the top of the tray, so I added a fun saying: “Donut Even!" But you could easily use large stickers or just write something fun with a sharpie! There are tons of cute donut sayings out there to choose from.

And finally, we mounted our board with Command Strips and filled the pegs with donuts!

In celebration of National Donut Day, we all chose our favorite flavors to enjoy.

We hope you’re enjoying a friday filled with DONUTS!
