When September arrives, the Little Miss Party team is in full swing event mode for the Holiday season. During this time, we’re hosting anything from Friendsgiving to our tree-decorating party to small gatherings with our friends and favorite clients. We spend time reflecting on the year ahead, reminiscing about the joys of the work we’ve accomplished, and planning for big things to come in the New Year. Because we’re so busy, we often divide and conquer on errands whether we’re picking up supplies for our parties or for everyday use in the studio. Natalie loves shopping at her local ACME in Hoboken, and I don’t feel bad giving her a shopping list because I know it will be one easy stop for everything we need.

Hosting is our love language, and we’re always looking for new ways to up our game around the holidays. This year we decided to create our very own festive coffee station to help us celebrate the season. With all the gatherings that we’ll have in our studio (both planned and impromptu) we know it will get tons of use. Our team has varying tastes in coffee, but we all agree on our love for the Starbucks® Holiday Blend. The smooth taste, with a mix of sweet maple notes, is flavorful yet balanced. We know it’s a hit with everyone we invite over. We use the ground coffee because it’s easy to make a large pot all at once for our guests, but it’s also available in K-Cup Pods!

Natalie always uses her ACME mobile app in advance to check what coupons are available. Not only does this make her shopping experience extremely easy and efficient when she arrives at the store, but it helps save me money which I also appreciate! She stopped into the store just last week to stock up on coffee and treats for our festive coffee station. Not only is the Starbucks Holiday Blend is available right now at your local ACME, you can save 25% off with this coupon!

She was able to get all the supplies we need for our gatherings in one store visit, including the items we plan to keep our coffee station stocked with! She bought milk, sugar cubes, and vanilla cookies to keep handy. In addition to those basics, we decided to create DIY chocolate covered spoons and homemade brownie bites because they’re both easy to re-stock any time we have guests over and pair perfectly with a coffee break.

When Natalie came back with the bags of Starbucks Holiday Blend ground coffee, we were immediately inspired by the gorgeous holiday packaging and got in the mood to decorate. We started with relocating our coffee maker to from the kitchen to our studio table. Using the festive red bags as our hero, we added evergreen garlands and twinkle lights. We love the feminine combination of reds, pinks, and deep greens at this time of year as it reflects our Little Miss Party brand and our personalities so well. We pulled out more decor for our table and filled a tray with everything we’d need to bring our coffee station to life - milk, disco stirrers, sugar cubes, and our sweet treats!

Finally, we put our coffee station to use for the first time of the season! I set up a morning meeting with my friend and fellow entrepreneur, Vielka. The smell of our Starbucks Holiday Blend coffee brewing brought back that memory of joy and comfort that we all feel throughout the holiday season. There’s something that just feels so heartwarming about serving coffee in the comfort of our studio, rather than meeting our favorite people out in the crowded, cold city. Cozying up with a cup of coffee might seem like a simple way to give and share with friends, but these intimate moments make me feel so grateful that we’re together.

A warm cup of coffee, a couple sweet bites, holiday decor, and shared moments with friends? I’m not sure there’s anything better.
