A Wintry Chic Hamptons Baby Shower

We are thrilled to be sharing this beautiful baby shower that we recently styled in the Hamptons for a fabulous ring of women. After meeting Karilyn Sanders who we quickly discovered is a wildly talented photographer, we were introduced to Colette Letterei who we connected with instantly. Colette was hosting a baby shower for her dear friend, and asked that we come in to style the event for her friend and Mother-To-Be to baby Shay. We immediately played off the chilly season and came up with a wintry palette of evergreen, birch, gold and white. We threw in pops of pink as a nod to baby Shay. The ladies were greeted in Colette's great room with a roaring fire and hors d'ouevres served by Sydney's Tailormade Cuisine. In this room we also set up a cider bar with a station of serve yourself toppings including star anise, gingered orange rinds and dried cranberries. The ladies enjoyed a family style lunch in what may have been one of the most beautiful dining rooms we have set to date. We found placemats from Crate and Barrel that looked like a shade of birch wood, gold flatware from West Elm (obsessed), pink with gold polka dot cloth napkins from Layla Grayce and of course we decked the table with pumpkins and owls that we sprayed gold. We filled some of our gold pumpkins and milk glass vases with eucalyptus which looked festive and smelled wonderful. Over coffee and tea the gals indulged in a beautiful pink ombre filled cake by Carolena's Cakes. We found an "Oh, Baby" topper from the Pink Poppy Party Shoppe on Etsy and loved how it glittered. We were surprised to find out that Karilyn not only takes beautiful photos but also knits! She made these adorable booties and had also knit a pair of mittens for her friend Heidi's new baby... For some fun, Karilyn's friend who started a genius business called Craft Box DIY To Go created three personalized crafts just for Heidi and baby Shay. Each box contained a craft: DIY bows and headbands, hand painted blocks for Shay’s nursery, and an adorable banner that said “Hush Little Baby”. The guests got their hands dirty and had a great time with this. To send the ladies off with a little something special, everyone took home a large, deliciously scented candle from Pier 1. We were honored to be a part of this shower and to have met some incredible new ladies. We owe a huge thanks to everyone involved.
