Sparkling Cider Pumpkin Beer-tails

Nothing says fall like pumpkin-flavored EVERYTHING. My favorite seasonal pumpkin variant? BEER. Yep, I like my pumpkin flavoring combined with some hoppy goodness.

This past weekend, my room mate and I hosted a celebration at our new apartment, from which I had some leftover Blue Moon Harvest Pumpkin Ale.  It was so delicious on its own, I decided that I wanted to make use of it for this weeks post. I found this recipe from on Brit + Co.'s Pinterest and got to work.

What you will need: -at least 2 bottles of your favorite pumpkin-flavored beer -one bottle of Martinelli's sparkling cider -cinnamon sticks -ground cinnamon for garnish -a lemon for garnish

What to do: 1) Add one cinnamon stick to each of your cocktail glasses.  I borrowed these super cool, Gastby-esque coupe glasses from Seri, and i'm pretty obsessed with how gorgeous they look.

2) Fill half of your glass with the pumpkin beer.

3) Fill the other half of the glass to the brim with the sparkling cider.

4) Garnish the rim of the glass with a lemon wedge. Sprinkle some ground cinnamon on the foam on the top of your cocktail.

Admire your handiwork for a minute, and then sip! I love how these maintain the pumpkin beer flavor, but are also lighter and bubblier than an entire beer. And they are SO easy to make!

Enjoy! See ya next week.
