A First Birthday Fit for a Prince
Last year we styled a very memorable party - A Teddy Bear Baby Shower. It went down as one of our favorite events of 2018 for so many reasons! The location, the decor, the dessert table, and the clients!
So we were delighted when the mama to be, Jessica, reached out to us to plan her son’s first birthday party!
The theme she chose was a Royal First, which was perfect for her party space which had many blue tones in it. And also, a killer view!
One of the things we wanted to repeat / update from our last party was a luxurious dessert table. The center piece was this massive 4 tier cake. Then had a variety of fun desserts to fill the table such as cake pops, cupcakes, macarons, cookies, etc.
As decor over the dessert table we added a fun balloon installation in all of our colors along with this custom crown sign.
For food, Jessica wanted an Asian flair. So we worked with Mary Giuliani Catering to create the perfect menu and specialty cocktail!
All around we added balloon clusters that incorporate our collar scheme.
On the other side of the room, Maggie made this custom photo backdrop of a castle to incorporate our theme. Then we added a rich balloon garland over the top.
As entertainment we used our favorite kids DJ. DJ Natalie kept the party going all day long and incorporated fun games for all the kids to play!
In front of her set up, we added a kids corner. A place where all the kiddies could sit, play with a toy, and listen to some music!
Guests were also able to take home a caricature drawing of themselves!
As favors we did a children’s book about dragons - perfectly wrapped in this navy blue bag with a custom sticker on top.
And finally, we provided mini crowns for each of the kids to wear during the party.
Ferran’s Royal First was truly so much fun. Making beautiful parties is easy when you have great clients and great views like this one! We can’t wait first our next royal bash!
