CELEBRATING OUR LOVED ONES THIS VALENTINE'S DAY

Valentine’s Day gets a bad rap, but it’s truly one of my favorite holidays. I honestly can’t think of another year where we could use a day to celebrate LOVE more than 2021. The flowers, the love songs, the snail mail, the candy…I am here.for.it.all.

If you’re looking for a way to surprise a friend or loved one, or plan to celebrate at home with your family, look no further than the Valentine’s Day Party in a Box. It’s perfect for celebrating whether you’re planning a date night indoor picnic, a festive after school snack break with the kids, or a Zoom Galentine’s brunch with your besties!

This year Valentine’s Day falls on a Sunday which makes an at home, family celebration pretty easy! Build a brunch board of your family favorites like I did here with fresh fruit, waffles, pancakes cut into the shapes of hearts (using the cookie cutters that come in our Little Miss Valentine’s Day Party in a Box!) and candy of course! Enjoy a family puzzle or board game and follow it with a movie, popcorn and hot chocolate. Spending that quality time together, sharing stories and laughing together will make for a day everyone will remember.

If you get your hands on our Valentine’s Day Party Box, you’ll find a jumbo, white heart balloon in there. This balloon can be easily inflated with a helium tank or with air by using a straw. Simply stick the straw into the hole on the tab, gently holding it all around so no air seeps out and inflate. Take a marker and write love notes all over the balloon to your family members OR make a family activity out of it and have everyone sign notes to each other saying what they love about one another.

In the spirit of celebrating and spreading LOVE, on Valentine’s Day and beyond, we are donating 10% of all Little Miss Party shop proceeds to a different non-profit organization each month.

This month’s donation will go to The Jed Foundation, which protects emotional health and prevents suicide for our nation’s teens and young adults. Mental health is something that’s been top of mind for me in the past year. 2020 (and let’s face it, 2021) have been ROUGH for everyone. As a mom of two young boys, I believe The Jed Foundation's work, equipping teens and young adults with the skills & knowledge to help themselves and each other, is more important than ever.

Sending lots & lots of love to you and yours as always!

These beautiful (socially distanced) photos were taken by my new friend in Florida, Kay Kawada of River Eight & Co., a super talented personal branding photographer who is pure joy to work with. Kay takes her work very seriously and puts a great deal of thought and attention into every shoot. I’m so grateful to have met Kay and highly recommend her for her impeccable photography and branding skills.
