Creativity, Community & Custom Vibes: Private Events at The Social Society

There’s nothing we love more than seeing our space filled with laughter, paintbrushes, and people making memories. Over the past few weeks, The Social Society has hosted some incredible private events that brought together friends, families, and creative spirits to celebrate life and make something beautiful—together.

Here’s a peek into some of the fabulous events we’ve been lucky to host lately. 👇

PATRIOTIC DOORMAT PAINTING

Nothing says “summer-ready” like a custom doormat with major red, white, and blue vibes! Guests painted their own festive front porch decor while sipping cold drinks and enjoying a laid-back, laughter-filled afternoon. It was the perfect mix of DIY + USA pride, and everyone left with a piece they couldn’t wait to show off on their doorstep! For this event, we set up an Acai bowl station as a partnership with Clean Juice Nocatee.

BEACH BAG PAINTING PARTY

Personalized and totally fun, this private beach tote workshop was all about sunshine, self-expression, and stylish accessories. With acrylic paints, stencils, and lots of blue tape, each guest designed their own one-of-a-kind beach bag—just in time for summer vacay or poolside lounging. We saw everything from monograms to palm trees to playful quotes, and let’s just say... these bags turned out CUTE.

OYSTER SHELL DECOUPAGE WORKSHOP

This one was a total fan favorite! Using beautiful printed napkins and mod podge, guests transformed ordinary oyster shells into coastal-chic trinket dishes. It was the perfect blend of craft + calm. Think: soft music, wine, and hands busy with something beautiful. Every shell was unique—and every guest left with a little piece of seaside magic.
