Ginger Beer Moscow Mules

Every time I scour Pinterest for my next cocktail idea, I am always greeted by pictures of many different versions of Moscow Mules in those stunning copper mugs.  When I saw that Seri had a pair of them lying around her apartment, I just knew that I had to make use of them!

With my mugs all shined up and ready to go, I went back to my search for recipe inspiration, and decided to go with the simple, refreshing, classic recipe.

Here's what you need: -1 lime -vodka -ginger beer -ice

Here's what to do: 1) Add ice to each of your copper mugs. 2) Cut lime in half and squeeze juice of each half into each mug. 3) Add 1.5 oz of vodka to each mug. 4) Add ginger beer to fill each mug. 5) Add slice of lime to the top of each drink for garnish.

I styled these copper mugs by putting them on this grey platter from CB2, along with this silver antler that Seri found at Target.  We also happened to have some pink peonies left over from a party that we did, and they added the perfect pop of color to complement the mugs.

Hope you enjoy, and see ya next week!
