Halloween fun!

Looking for some creative Halloween party ideas both kiddies and adults will enjoy? We've teamed up with Balloon Time to come up with a few easy ways to incorporate balloons into your spooky soiree! We started with a few of these 16" letter balloons. How perfect for spelling out just about anything! Which do you like better, TRICK or BOO? In addition to blowing up solid orange and black balloons, we thought it would be fun to add in some of our own DIY confetti balloons. You can find our easy "how to" here! What to serve for Halloween? That's easy...anything's spooky with spiders! We took plain vanilla cupcakes and instantly transformed them with black plastic spiders we found at the dollar store. Another Halloween favorite is anything made with seasonal apples! We live in NY and there is no shortage of apple picking farms upstate and in Eastern Long Island. It always seems like we have more apples than we know what to do with. Never fear! Whip up some caramel dipped apples and homemade apple cider and your guests will think you slaved in the kitchen all day! This recipe by Emeril Lagasse is one of my favorites, and you can make it non-alcoholic or spiked. Stick in an orange wedge and a few skull straws from Michaels and you're all set! We also served it with an apple slice and a cinnamon stick. Which do you prefer? We love serving a signature drink at every party we throw, both personally and professionally. Nothing makes our cocktail creations look better than our favorite CB2 beverage dispenser. We dressed it up with these silly witches legs we found in Target...so perfect, right? One more way we turned our ordinary balloons into spooky Halloween balloons was with a simple black mask.  We loved the way this turned out! As a simple way to anchor down your balloons, try tying them to the tops of pumpkin stems. Easy and no need for heavy balloon weights.

Halloween, here we come!
