Rum Punch for #NationalRumDay

There are so many national social media holidays I can hardly keep track! Seri was perusing a magazine this past weekend, and frantically snapchatted me when she saw that today is #NationalRumDay.

I knew that I had to take advantage and make a cocktail using the liquor being celebrated, so I settled on some rum punch. It was super easy to make, and I was able to supplement with some yummy items we had leftover in the fridge.

Here's what you need: - your favorite white rum (I used Bacardi) - orange juice - cranberry juice - grenadine - pineapple juice - lime juice - sliced oranges, limes and plums - fresh mint leaves for garnish - ice

Here's what to do:

1) Combine 1.5 cups light rum, 2 cups orange juice, 2 tablespoons cranberry juice, 2 cups pineapple juice and 3 tablespoons of lime juice to your pitcher. 2) Add in 2 tablespoons of grenadine and mix all together. 3) Add in your sliced fruit and ice and stir lightly. 4) Pour mixture into each glass and add some sliced fruit for garnish and a few mint leaves.

That's it! You can add more of any type of the juices for more flavor, but the combo that I had above was just perfect for me.

I hope this beauty helps you celebrate #NationalRumDay the right way!

See ya next week :)
