How we brunch: for Mom

Showing Mom just how much you care this Mother's Day doesn't need to be complicated. We put together a super simple brunch to show you how...Mom will love the thought and effort you put behind this easy but beautiful meal. For starters, we created a yogurt parfait bar. With bowls of fresh fruit, granola and yogurt, Mom can help herself to the perfect parfait. To feed the crowd, if you have one, we always opt for a pasta salad. So easy to make and super filling. This particular salad included fusilli shaped pasta and we threw in everything we could find in the fridge: red peppers, scallions and grape tomatoes. My favorite part of this salad was the Mozzarella cheese that we added. I had picked up a fresh ball that morning to compliment the salad and cut it out into heart shapes with a cookie cutter. How lovable?! Round out the meal with some freshly baked (don't worry you can run to the bakery!) breads, muffins and/or pastries. Don't forget the coffee, juice and of course a little something sweet! We picked up black and white cupcakes. To decorate the table all you need is a simple, stunning flower arrangement to make Mom smile. So easy it hurts.  Good luck! And let us know what you end up doing for Mom this year...we can't wait to hear!
