It's almost Apple picking time! My absolute favorite season. Fall to me is sweet crisp apples,  warm plaids, chai lattes and the beautiful smell of fresh fallen leaves. 


Both apples and fennel are in season right now so this salad is perfect for an end of summer soirée. 


Super healthy, citrusy and delicious. Check it out! Adapted from Williams-Sonoma.

Whisk together apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, chopped fennel fronds, canola oil, salt and pepper.

Using a mandoline, thinly shave peeled Granny Smith apples and fennel. Toss with vinaigrette and garnish with fennel fronds. (I added spinach to the salad as well)
