Ready, Set, Weekend with Simply Beautiful Eating

How often do you start your day with a healthy drink? Not often enough I bet.

I wanted to create a non-alcoholic version of a beet and fruit juice drink and ended up creating this spritzer. This juice is a combination of beets, mango and clementines. The sky is the limit here and you can add in anything else your heart desires or substitute the juices with other fruits or veggies.

Everything in this drink is balanced perfectly. A little sweet. a little tart and a refreshing way to start a day.

Now, if you have a fahnsay juicer, you can definitely use it to make this drink. I made it very simple for you by using organic beet and mango juice then added freshly squeezed clementine juice plus a splash of sparkling water to pull this all together.

Better yet, this can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator. When you are ready to serve it, just add your sparking or soda water and you’re good to go!

Oh, and no red food dyes here. All this gorgeousness comes from the mighty beet itself. Quite shocking right? I took these photos and couldn’t believe the colour of this drink was so vibrant.

This is a perfect swap if you’re hooked on chemically flavoured sodas. Clink, clink. Cheers to this drink.
