The 2021 New Years Eve Party in a Box

I know the holiday season only just started but its not too early to start making your New Year’s Eve plans. If you’re looking for a glitzy night, your first thought might be start looking into places to go out to but I am here to tell you that even if you stay home you can put a sparkly dress on and pop some champagne!

Start by texting a group of your friends to secure the date. The earlier the better. The closer we get to Christmas the more people make plans and if you wait too long you will be out of luck!

Next up - plan the decor….. And you already know we’ve got that covered with our New Year’s Eve Party in a Box. Don’t be afraid to layer in some of your leftover Christmas decor too! That’s what we did. We added strands of tinsel, cute ornaments, and more to make our set up look nice and full.

Once you have your decor set, let’s talk menu. I think its really awesome when the host does a signature cocktail. And since its New Years eve, the cocktail should have champagne in it! There are so many great ones on our blog, but I think this cranberry rosemary spritzer is perfect for an easy NYE set up.

Now let’s get onto the food… for NYE I would say definitely don’t kill yourself in the kitchen. It’s usually a long night and the food will get cold anyway! We stopped by our local Whole Foods and just picked up a whole bunch of apps that we could pop into the oven. Took us less than a half hour and then we were able to cater to everyones tastes.

And last but not least, let’s talk about entertainment. Yes - you want there to be dancing (we always recommend our LMP Spotify Playlist) but you may also want to pull out some games! Cards Against Humanity is a great one for a night of drinking.
