A Wintery Chic Holiday Party

It’s the season of entertaining, gift giving, good food, snowy days, and so much more. Those are just some of the reasons why December is such a magical month. It’s also the season of holiday parties! Which happens to be my favorite type of soiree.

A former client of ours came to us a few months ago looking to throw a chic holiday party and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity. They have a gorgeous home so our decor would act as accents to an already stunning venue for the party.

We started off with choosing our color palette: navy, maroon, and rose gold. So festive and warm! It it was the perfect palette to compliment the client’s existing home decor elements.

For the entry we made a beautiful tall floral arrangement to greet guests and then added a few warm candles and bud vases around.

To WOW guests as they walked up to the second floor (aka party floor), we installed a huge balloon garland that wrapped around the spiraling staircase. We used lots balloons of all sizes to make our garland feel luxe and over the top.

The bar is one of the most important spots in any party, but especially a holiday party. Off to each side we added fun elements like a signature drink sign, gold dipped rock candy stirrers (by Making that Cake), fun cocktail napkins, and wintery trees.

In the main entertaining space, we installed another balloon garland to go over the mantel and act as a focal point for the room.

On each side we added tall floral arrangements and candles to complement it.

All of these design elements were meant to feel inviting and cozy for each of the guests. Right down to the entertainment (provided by DJ NVM) and food (which was deliciously catered by Mary Giuliani Catering).

This party warmed us right up right up for the holidays and now we can’t wait to celebrate with our own loved ones.
